Priest: Slain dad had taught boy, 8, to use guns
Here we f***ing go... it sucks knowing what agenda the latest onslaught of "gun tragedy" stories in the MSM serves... they sure don't wait before they get started!
Is someone archiving all these stories? I'm sure they would make an interesting collection in historical retrospect. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081109/.../child_charged |

Re: Priest: Slain dad had taught boy, 8, to use guns
What I heard on the news was that there was no evidence beyond a confession. Anyone can get an 8-year-old to confess to anything. I want to remind everyone that this CHILD is innocent until proven guilty. Or at least until some evidence that points the way towards him.
I remember a couple of years back there was a story where the cops were certain that two very young boys assaulted, raped, and killed a 13 year old girl. It turned out that the boys had nothing to do with it, it was an adult that did the horrendous act. Yet, the police got the boys to give confessions saying that they did all sort of horrible things. Am I crazy to demand facts before jumping to conclusions? |
Re: Priest: Slain dad had taught boy, 8, to use guns
Hmmmm I don't know if I would teach an 8 year old to use power tools, a blow torch, drive a car etc so I'd put guns in the same bracket. Otherwise there is a tendancy for the 8 year old to think they can use those items unsupervised and be a danger to themselves as well as others.
By the sounds of it, this kid would have tried to kill using some other means if the gun wasn't available to him. |

And didn't a little kid accidentally kill himself last week with an Uzi that his dad let him shoot?
What's wrong with these dads? |
